Sanjeev Bhargava
Sanjeev Bhargava (India) is the Founder and Creative Director of SEHER. He has been advising various agencies of the Govt. of India on Culture- directly working with several Cabinet Ministers and others for select occasions. He has served on the Central Advisory Board of Culture (CABC), Govt of India and was appointed in the High-Powered Committee (HPC) on culture by the Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of Indian Parliament to write a comprehensive report on culture in India.
Over the last decade SEHER has been instrumental in making Delhi the Cultural hub of the nation. SEHER has single-handedly changed the cultural profile of the Capital by establishing several thematic annual festivals in public spaces in Delhi – different monuments and parks having their own annual cultural festivals that form the Cultural calendar of Delhi and other cities.
Festivals like the Udaipur World Music Festival, Jaipur Jazz and Blues Festival, Ananya Dance Festival at Purana Qila, Bhakti Utsav at Nehru Park, Qutub Festival at the majestic Qutub Minar, Gurbani Festival at the Talkatora Gardens, the SAARC Bands Festival at Central Park, ASEAN India Music Festival at Purana Qila and the Delhi Jazz Festival are now some of the most eagerly awaited annual events. Mr. Bhargava is appointed as the Vice Chairman of Asia Pacific Music Meeting (APaMM) since 2018 by Ulsan Arts and Culture Foundation, South Korea.
Mr. Sanjeev Bhargava was also presented the Order of Knighthood by the President of Italy with the Order of the Star for promoting friendly relations and cooperation between India and Italy in 2016. Mr. Bhargava has also served as Special Advisor to the Office of President of India and Rashtrapati Bhavan on special cultural events and official banquets for VVIP visits to India such as President of USA to India in 2010 and 2015.
