Ryuji Noda

Ryuji Noda（Okinawa, Japan) has spent over 35 years in the entertainment industry, primarily in music, and is based in Okinawa, Japan. In 2016, he launched the international music conference “Trans Asia Music Meeting,” which later evolved into the international showcase festival “Music Lane Festival Okinawa” in 2023.

Currently, “Music Lane Festival Okinawa / Trans Asia Music Meeting” is the only international showcase festival of its kind in Japan. In 2025, it received over 600 applications from around the world, with 60 selected artists performing in Okinawa. At the core of his work is building connections between Japan and the rest of Asia through music. As part of Music Lane Festival Okinawa, he organizes co-writing camps that bring together Asian artists and Japanese songwriters and producers. The works created through these collaborations are released under the project “Trans Asia Resonance,” showcasing new cross-border sounds and creative possibilities.

As a promoter, he has also introduced both domestic and international artists to new audiences, creating opportunities for live performances and market expansion across borders. Okinawa, located between mainland Japan and Taiwan, has long been a crossroads of cultures. Its music reflects a rich blend of Japanese, Chinese, Southeast Asian countries, and American influences. Through his projects, he continues to position Okinawa as a hub for international music exchange. In 2024, he received the “Tokyo Alter Music Award” for Contribution to Asia.
