Marisa Segala

Marisa Segala (Denmark) is the founder and artistic director of Crossover Frequencies, a music agency dedicated to exploring the vibrant intersection of tradition and contemporary sound. She works closely with artists across genres and geographies, developing projects that honour cultural and musical heritage while embracing innovation, experimentation, and new forms of expression.

Alongside her work as an agent, Marisa is an independent curator and artistic consultant for festivals and cultural events across Europe. She curates the Roots & Hybrid concert series at Kulturium in Copenhagen, presenting artists from Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and the Nordic region. She also collaborates with festivals and cultural organisations on artistic programming and international artist selection. Through her work, Marisa seeks to create meaningful dialogue between artists, genres, and cultures, connecting audiences with diverse musical traditions while inviting them into contemporary, boundary-expanding sonic worlds. With a focus on collaboration, authenticity, and artistic dialogue, she curates concerts and partnerships that respect the depth and integrity of cultural expression while encouraging artists to experiment and discover new ways of communicating.
