Ai Jing

Ai, Jing (China), Born and growing up in Beijing, AJ entered the live music industry in 2006 working as the international booker for multiple festivals in China. He joined Taihe Music Group in 2016 as the head of international bookings of Showstart (the live and ticketing department of Taihe).

He was one of the core members founding RYE Music Festival and was the artist director of the festival from 2018 to 2021.Over the years he has brought a long list of international acts to China: Amadou & Mariam, Angus & Julia Stone, Aurora, Carl Barat, Kings Of Convenience, Novo Amor Ride, Röyksopp, Slowdive, The Vaccines, Wolf Alice to name a few. In 2024 he started his own promotional agency Haze Sounds and continues to work intensively with international artists’ touring in China. AJ also manages a few Chinese bands: Carsick Cars, Default, KyoYoko, Green Deer, Acid Accident, and Sleepwalkin’ Zoo.
