RIMBA

RIMBA was formed in 2019 with a vision to explore a pop genre that spans a wide spectrum. Drawing inspiration from the pop, jazz, and psychedelic music foundations of the 60s and 70s, the band wraps these influences in modern elements while also incorporating the hard yet comfortable sounds of alternative music from the 80s and 90s.

When it first formed in 2019, RIMBA wanted to carry a pop genre with a broad spectrum, starting from the pop, jazz, psychedelic music foundations of 60’s – 70’s era wrapped in modern ornaments to the hard but comfortble side of alternative musin in the 80’s – 90’s era, making RIMBA a with style so unique, presenting aggressive but structured music. Comprising Latasya Dinar (vocals), Vari Rivano (guitar), Ivando Jeremy (drums) & Marvin Muhammad (bass & backing vocals), the band has steadily etched out the distinctive niche with the scene.
