Ambarila was originally formed in 2017 as a duo consisting of Ambara Handy (Ukulele) and Rila Kristanti (Vocals). They released their self-titled album in 2022 under the folk-acoustic genre.

In 2023, Ambarila transformed into a full band with additional members: Sangaji (Electric Guitar), Dany WP (Drums), M. Rivan Alviansyah (Acoustic Guitar), and Reza Adi Priana (Bass). This new format was first introduced at the event “Sunset di Kebun”, where they performed alongside Sore, Nidji, Vieratalle, and Fleur.

A year later, in September 2024, the band will release their first single, “Hadjumari.”

About the Single “Hadjumari”
Marking the first release of Ambarila’s full-band format, “Hadjumari” is an intergenerational call to embrace good habits and self-care—both physically and spiritually. The song blends pop-alternative with touches of Hawaiian and modern Keroncong, while still preserving Ambarila’s signature sound, highlighted by Amba’s ukulele and Rila’s vocals.
