Satya Cipta is a talented Balinese artist, director, and singer born on Lombok Island. From a young age, Satya has been passionate about painting, and her artistic journey has garnered recognition and acclaim from critics, galleries, and collectors both in Indonesia and internationally.

Satya Cipta is a Balinese artist, director and singer born in Lombok island. She received her B.A. degree from The Arts Institute of Jakarta (IKJ) majoring in theater in 2010. She started painting when she was in her childhood. Her works have received recognition and critical claims from many art critics, art galleries, curators, collectors and media in Indonesia and abroad. In addition to pursuing her career in the art scene, Satya Cipta has been working professionally as the main singer for several operas (Gayatri, Gitarja, Tri Hita Karana and Khan Cie Wei). As a singer for the Indonesian National Orchestra (INO), Satya Cipta has performed in many prestigious concert halls and festivals in Indonesia and Europe such as Elbphilhamonie in Hamburg, Amare Theater in the Hague and Music Meeting Festival in Nijmegen. Recently, she has released her own song entitled “Overthinking” in Spotify. Furthermore, Satya Cipta is also known as an art and show director for theater, film and festivals of Lokaswara, a company that produced operas, documentary films, art and cultural festivals across Indonesia.
